Can't Swing Beijing ? Take Our Online Tour !

In keeping with our continuous effort to keep our members up-to-date, we're pleased to present a pretty cool video ! Due to the present recession, many Americans won't be able to take much, if any, of a vacation this summer. And for once there's something ( other than reruns ) worth watching.




I am, of course, referring to the network television production and presentation of the 2008 Summer Olympics from Beijing, China. While many Americans do enjoy the chance to be in Beijing for all of the Olympic Games, even the vast majority of Americans ( among billions other worldwide ) will watch at least some portion of the nearly wall-to-wall coverage that NBC Television will provide.

So, while some will experience the sights, sounds, smells, tastes and culture of the Beijing 2008 Olympics in person. we can take solace in the fact that we have a little short video compiled by the fine folks at Getty Images.
