The Coral Oaks Golf Course is experiencing a rebirth of sorts. In the wake of recent renovations completed by the Cape Coral Parks and Recreation department, golfers have commented on how nice the improvements have made the facility. In addition to the repairs made to the tee area, new artificial hitting surfaces have been added to the driving range to offer golfers a different surface for practicing their game.

The most noticeable difference to golfers, however, may just be the reduced cost of playing that takes effect as of the first of May. Previously, 18 holes before noon would cost $40.00 for residents and $45.00 for non-residents. When the new prices go into effect, those fees will be reduced to $25.00 and $30.00 respectively for the same before noon tee time. All tee times for Coral Oaks have been reduced in cost and locals need to make reservations for a tee time 5 days in advance

Registration for Coral Oak's long-standing Junior Golf Association program , which begins on June 9th, will run for two consecutive Saturdays beginning May 10th from 9:00 AM until noon.

Aside from several charity golf events taking place this year, Coral Oaks also offers several weekly golf clinics to help you improve all aspects of your game. If you prefer some individual instruction, resident PGA Professional Allen Magnuson is on-hand for private lessons.

So if you've been longing for the links, be sure to check out the new Coral Oaks Golf Course !
