Cape Coral's Park of the Month

For those of you who are unaware, July is "National Recreation and Parks Month". In keeping with our our tradition of featuring a particular park within Cape Coral each month, we certainly wont make any exception for the month of July. Because this month is also designated as "Family Golf Month", our selection for the July Park of the Month of the Coral Oaks Golf Course seems right in order.




The Coral Oaks Golf Course, which is owned and operated by the City of Cape Coral’s Parks & Recreation Department, is a beautiful, 18-hole, Arthur Hills designed golf course located in NW Cape Coral at 1800 NW 28th Ave.

This affordable and remarkable golf course boasts TifEagle greens, contoured fairways and rich natural surroundings, including a century old oak hammock and several ponds and bunkers, making it a scenic and challenging course for all skill levels. The course is also equipped with a large driving range and practice area, well-stocked pro shop, and Knicker’s Pub, a sports-themed restaurant with diverse menu and full bar, that is also available to rent out for special occasions.

In addition to its wonderful facilities, Coral Oaks offers golf instruction in the form of adult clinics, golf schools and private lessons taught by PGA professionals with over 50 years of combined experience, plus Men’s and Ladies’ Golf Associations, charity tournament play and special outings for groups, all at the most competitive pricing in the entire golfing industry.

Because July is National Family Golf Month, Coral Oaks will be offering several great rates for families and children throughout the month to celebrate! The PGA, through the “Play Golf America” campaign has encouraged golf professionals nationwide to entertain families and children and introduce them to this great game we play. If you want to play a round on your own or with a group of friends, summer is still the most affordable time of year to play. Daily rates are currently $25.00 for Cape Coral residents before noon ($22.00 after noon), and $30.00 before noon ($25.00 after noon) for non-residents. In addition, every day after 3:30 PM in the summer, Coral Oaks offers a special twilight rate of only $18 for Cape residents and $20 for non-residents. If you enjoy playing more regularly, season pass opportunities are available for singles, couples, and families with both 9- and 12-month passes available.
