If you are a regular visitor to our site, then you may recall an article we published back in March entitled; "Sunsplash is Open, C'mon Down". We didn't want Lee County kids on Spring Break to miss out on some fun in the sun. We talked about some changes to the park in that article. We also mentioned the hours of operation for the spring and summer months.
As of today, three new water slides are open at the park. With the recent makeover, improvements and new attractions, we decided that Sunsplash Family Waterpark should be May's Park of the Month !
So here's the official word ! The City of Cape Coral Parks & Recreation Department has three brand new speed slides at Sun Splash Family Waterpark in Cape Coral. Free fall up to 40 ft per second on the X-celerator, face your fears on the Terror Tube, or catch some turbulence on the Thunder Bump. In addition to these thrilling new slides, Sun Spash has over 14 acres of pools, slides, food and fun for people of all ages.
Sunsplash is definitely cool fun for the whole family. If you haven't had a chance to go yet this season, make your plans now and check out the new slides while you're there !
