Shameless Ploy For Membership

We're approaching a milestone in our existence. Okay, it's really just a birthday, but it is a significant marker. We have experienced steady growth since our inception, at times it has been explosive ! We owe a debt of gratitude to those local residents who have chosen to make us their home page. It is our membership whose needs we first seek to serve. They are, after all, our reason for being.

But we still want more ! We know that a lot of persons who visit our site daily haven't taken that step. We decided that some form of incentive might just be a good idea. But what can we give away to entice our visitors to become members ??? Then it struck us..Money..cold, hard, cash !




Of course we can't just pay everyone to join..that would be bribery ! But, perhaps the promise of possibly making some extra cash for very little effort does have a bit of allure. We can all use some extra money, right ? I always say that I have a use for every dollar I ever made and a couple I haven't made yet.

So here it is. Sometime in the next few days, we will have our 500th member sign up for membership. We're waiting for them. Sure, in reality, they will just be another new member, but that particular member will mark a milestone in our growth. So we want to reward that person. It seems fitting that we celebrate the achievement.

The 500th member to register ( sign-up and confirm ! ) their membership will also be the recipient of a crisp $100.00 bill. We know, it is truly shameless on our part. We just couldn't think of a better way to show our appreciation. Okay, we're also going to give them an Official Greatest Cape pen. It's a nice pen and, hopefully, it will help that new member recall where that got the cash !
